With operations in Scandinavia and the Baltic region, AGA is currently northern Europe’s leading industrial gas company and part of The Linde Group, a global supplier of industrial and specialty gases, engineering and supply chain management services. With revenue of over 17 billion Euros in 2014, Linde’s products and services are provided by over 65,500 employees in more than 100 countries.

AGA originally established operations in Latvia in 1992 where it manufactures and distributes industrial, medical, and food gases. The company employs approximately 80 people at its Latvian plant, producing gases for clients domestically and throughout Europe. In 2012, the company expanded its operations in Latvia by investing over 8 million Euros in a second plant. AGA  owns production, filling, and distribution facilities in Riga area,Valmiera and a pan-Baltic CO2 distribution terminal in Skulte, located in northeastern Latvia. The new facility utilizes new technologies designed to optimize transport utilization, gas tank loading and production capacity.
