Sweden-based EuroMaint Rail offers qualified technical maintenance to meet customer requirements for well-functioning rolling stock fleets. The company’s products and services guarantee the reliability and service life of track-mounted vehicles such as freight carriages, passenger trains, locomotives and work machines. The company has 2450 employees in six countries and average annual revenue of over 300 million Euros.

Euromaint established its first workshop outside of Sweden, in Latvia, in 2008. With over 30 employees, its plant in Jelgava refurbishes and renovates a wide range of railway transportation products, including brakes and brake cylinders, shock absorbers, linkages and vacuum pumps.

The company chose Latvia for its strategic location within Europe, along with Jelgava’s favorable geographical location and good communications—together with the town’s industrial traditions and education facilities.
