In 2011 LIAA broadens its export support services

By attracting EU structural funds, The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) is able to expand its export support services this year. In 2011 LIAA will organize Latvian businesses' participation in national stands at international trade fairs. Besides that LIAA plans to open new foreign representative offices in countries where there is a demand for Latvian goods and services.

Furthermore LIAA will continue providing existing services: providing information about foreign markets, partner search services, organizing individual visits and trade missions, seminars, B2B events and marketing campaigns for Latvian goods and services.

Financing for existing and new export services was attracted from the European Regional Development Fund (ERAF). In the next three years 1,5 million Lats is available from the program that supports market entrance activities in foreign markets "National stands at international trade fairs and export consultations".
