Riga Airport leads the way, passengers up by 27%

Riga International Airport (http://www.riga-airport.com/) has continued its year-on-year expansion to once again prove its position as the leading airport in the Baltic States. In 2007 Riga Airport served 83% more passengers than Tallinn Airport (1 728 430) and 84 % more than Vilnius Airport (1 717 222). Girona Airport in Italy was ranked first (+ 34,4 %) while Sofia Airport in Bulgaria closed the Top3 with 24,6 % growth in 2007.
