LIAA unites scientists and entrepreneurs

The Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) approved five new projects involving competence centers at which scientists and entrepreneurs will be working together on various projects that contribute to the Latvian economy and respective industries.
The projects are supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which covers more than 60 percent of each project's costs, while entrepreneurs will provide the rest of the necessary funding. The programmes are to be completed by 2015.
