Business delegation of Latvian health tourism companies going to Sweden on February 24-25, 2011

On February 24-25, 2011, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) Representative Office in Sweden in cooperation with LIAA Headquarters in Riga are organizing a visit for a business delegation of Latvian health tourism companies to Sweden. The delegation consists of six Latvian participants:

• “Medicinas turisma centrs” Ltd (Centre of Medical tourism http://www.baltic-care.eu/),
• “Hotel Jurmala Spa Ltd” (http://www.hoteljurmala.com/),
• “Medical travel Riga Ltd”(http://www.medicaltravelriga.com/),
• “PKC Ltd” (http://www.pkc.lv/).

The 1,5 day business seminar will take place at the premises of the embassy of Latvia in Stockholm with several presentations by Swedish companies and institutions, as well as presentations by the Latvian participants. In the afternoon a round table discussion is organized and the seminar continues the next day in the morning.

The aim of the visit is to attract Swedish health tourism to Latvia and to inform Swedish companies and organizations in the healthcare, healthcare tourism and healthcare insurance businesses about the possibilities in Latvia.
