From October 21 to 23, the Federation of Food Companies of Latvia (LPUF), in cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), organized a visit of foreign food buyers to Rīga and the regions as part of the Latvian Food Forum (Latvijas Pārtikas forums), strengthening the export capacity and international recognition of Latvia’s food industry. Over the course of three days, 19 foreign food buyers from the Nordic countries and other parts of Europe visited Latvia to meet individually with 14 Latvian food producers and tour their facilities.
