From 5 April, registration is officially open for the annual Deep Tech Atelier 2022 conference, whose main focus this year will be photonics and smart materials, space technologies, and science commercialization.

Deep Tech Atelier - the most ambitious event in the Baltics in the field of deep-tech and science commercialization. A place where entrepreneurial and science excellence blends and creates new added value.

This year the conference will take place from 19 to 20 May in person at the event center Hanzas Perons, 16A Hanzas Street, Riga. It will also be broadcasted live. The topics of each conference are adjusted to the current developments in society, science, technology, and each year this conference brings together several hundred participants: start-uppers, experienced entrepreneurs, scientists and researchers, representatives of the public and non-governmental sectors, producers, investors, acceleration funds and everyone interested in innovation, new ideas, and point-of-views.

In 2022, you will have an opportunity to get inspired by the speakers from Deep Tech Atelier's three stages: DeepTech is dedicated to the commercialization of science, SpaceTech is hosting European Space Agency days in Latvia, and the current space industry trends, while SmartTech is focused on photonics and smart materials. Satellite events happening during the conference: the international Deep Tech Start-Up competition and the 19th Ignition Event organised by the Commercialization Reactor aimed to build new business teams of scientists and entrepreneurs. We also welcome entrepreneurs to participate in B2B sessions with investors and industry representatives, including technology scouts.
