Applications are now open until 14 October for the 4th batch of Venture Catalysts, a free five-week training program designed to support students, researchers, and aspiring entrepreneurs in transforming science-driven ideas into real-world ventures.
Developed and delivered by UniLab in collaboration with RTU Riga Business School, RISEBA, and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), and co-funded by the European Union, Venture Catalysts provides a unique platform for future innovators to gain the foundational knowledge, tools, and connections needed to succeed in the fast-growing deep tech ecosystem.
From 2024 to 2026, we plan to run six Venture Catalysts training cycles. To date, 120 aspiring entrepreneurs have completed the program. This demonstrates that an increasing number of people in Latvia are eager to turn their scientific ideas into businesses. Our mission is to create an environment and provide support that allows this potential to develop into real, internationally competitive companies,” emphasizes Ieva Jāgere, Director of LIAA.
