On Tuesday, 28 October 2025, the Danish–Latvian Defence Industry Days will take place in Riga. The event aims to strengthen cooperation between the defence industries and sectors of both countries, share current developments, and foster the creation of new joint projects and collaboration formats.
The event is organised by the State Defence Corporation, the Embassy of Denmark in Latvia, the Ministries of Defence of both countries, the Danish Chamber of Commerce, and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, in close cooperation with representatives of the Latvian defence industry.
The Defence Industry Days hold significant importance for both nations. Denmark currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and one of its top priorities is a secure and strong Europe. The two countries are strategic partners in defence matters. Denmark is a member of the Drone Coalition initiated by Latvia, and the Danish Royal Army battalion is part of the NATO multinational brigade in Latvia, contributing to the defence of NATO’s eastern flank.
The number of registered participants is already approaching 100. Attendees include representatives from companies, organisations, Ministries of Defence, and defence and security institutions of both countries. Registration is open until 7 October (inclusive), and the number of places is limited.
The organisers express their gratitude to Latvian companies, organisations, and partners for their involvement and cooperation in creating a relevant and engaging event and ensuring its successful implementation.
