On October 20, the tourism cooperation network “Dabas tūrisma sadarbības tīkls” (Nature Tourism Cooperation Network) presented a new and inspiring tourism product to representatives of Latvia’s tourism sector — “SLOW LATVIA X KALNCIEMA KVARTĀLS”, developed within the network’s strategic product “Urban Garden”.
This new offer invites travelers to experience Riga and its surroundings from a different perspective — through the principles of slow tourism, where the focus is on mindful exploration, authentic local experiences, and respect for nature.
The product features three thematic tours combining local culture, gastronomy, nature, and architecture:

🌿 Riga Across the Daugava – Kalnciema Quarter, Botanical Garden, and the Pārdaugava Experience
A journey that combines architectural heritage, natural beauty, and the stories of the local community.
These tours offer a unique opportunity to experience Riga differently — more slowly, consciously, and in harmony with nature. The project’s goal is to strengthen cooperation among tourism stakeholders and promote the development of nature and cultural tourism in Latvia, creating sustainable and attractive experiences for both local travelers and international visitors.
