The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) announces that a delegation of Latvian enterprises specializing in defense, aerospace, and dual-use technologies will participate in a trade mission to Victoria, Australia, during the Avalon Australian International Airshow 2027 from February 22 to February 28, 2027.
The Avalon Australian International Airshow is one of the premier aviation, aerospace, and defense events in the Indo-Pacific region. Held biennially, it brings together international defense companies, technology developers, government representatives, military leadership, and industry experts.
Latvia’s defense and aerospace sector is recognized for advanced engineering, high-tech dual-use software, autonomous systems, and specialized manufacturing. During the mission, participating Latvian companies will present their technologies at the national representative booth, participate in briefings with regional partners such as Invest Victoria, engage in tailored business visits, and connect with key defense buyers and decision-makers.
The trade mission is organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) within the framework of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) Innovative Business Development Program, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Latvian state budget.
