The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) is organizing a high-level trade mission to Japan, featuring a dedicated ICT industry stand at CEATEC (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies). The trade mission will take place from October 11 to 18, 2026, with the exhibition held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, from October 13 to 16.
Building on the significant visibility gained during EXPO 2025, Latvia continues to offer opportunities for international partners to explore the potential of Latvian technological solutions. This mission is designed to facilitate deeper market exploration and establish strategic contacts at both corporate and governmental levels.
This year's CEATEC theme, Transformation, focuses on reshaping companies, industries, and society through digital technologies. The event serves as a premier platform for AI, digital innovation, and sustainability, bringing together businesses and research organizations to develop solutions for future society. As one of Japan's leading technology events with a history dating back to 1962, CEATEC attracts extensive international media coverage and industry leaders from across the globe.
Latvian companies will be showcased at the ICT industry stand within the exclusive Global Park pavilion, a dedicated space for cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions from around the world. International visitors and partners will have the opportunity to engage with Latvian exporters through B2B networking, product presentations, and pitch sessions on the Global Park stage.
The trade missions are organized by LIAA within the framework of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) Innovative Business Development Program, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Latvian state budget.
