From May 26–28, 2026, the Latvian defense and security industry delegation will participate in CANSEC, Canada’s premier defense and security trade show, held at the EY Centre in Ottawa. Organized by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), this event serves as a global hub for the latest technologies and services across land, naval, aerospace, and joint force military units.
The Latvian delegation, led by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia in collaboration with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and the Embassy of Latvia in Canada, arrives with a mission to strengthen transatlantic partnerships and foster high-level industrial cooperation.
Connect with Latvia at CANSEC 2026
International partners are invited to meet with Latvian industry leaders to explore cutting-edge solutions in defense technology, police and border security, and special operations equipment. Our delegation’s presence at CANSEC provides a unique platform for:
-
Strategic Networking: Facilitating individual B2B meetings with Latvian innovators and security experts.
-
Industry Integration: Participating in the Canada-Europe Connect forum on May 26th to bridge the gap between European innovation and Canadian market needs.
-
Collaborative Growth: Identifying new opportunities for joint ventures, R&D projects, and supply chain integration.
We look forward to engaging with global industry stakeholders in Ottawa to build a more secure and innovative future together.
The Latvian trade mission is organized within the framework of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) Innovative Business Development Program, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the State budget of Latvia.
