The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) is organizing a Latvian startup and IT trade mission to Tokyo, Japan, taking place from 26 April to 1 May 2026, alongside the international conference SusHI Tech TOKYO 2026.

The mission aims to showcase Latvia’s dynamic startup ecosystem and to facilitate international partnerships, business development, and investment opportunities between Latvian technology companies and global stakeholders.

About SusHI Tech TOKYO 2026

SusHI Tech TOKYO 2026 is a major international technology conference held on 27–29 April 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight, one of Japan’s largest exhibition venues. The event focuses on sustainable urban development through advanced technologies and global collaboration, bringing together startups, corporations, investors, public-sector leaders, and innovation ecosystem players from around the world.

Latvia at SusHI Tech Tokyo

Latvia will present itself as a compact yet highly innovative startup hub, where technology companies collaborate across sectors and scale solutions globally.

At the exhibition:

  • Latvian startups and scale-ups will be showcased at the StartUp Latvia stand, coordinated by LIAA.
  • Companies active in AI, deep tech, smart cities, robotics, mobility, GovTech, climate tech, and digital solutions will be represented.
  • Participants will have opportunities to meet Latvian founders, explore pilot projects, discuss partnerships, and initiate B2B collaborations.

In addition to the exhibition, Latvian companies will take part in:

  • Curated B2B meetings
  • Side events and networking sessions
  • Innovation-focused discussions with Japanese and international partners

This is a unique opportunity to connect with Latvia’s startup ecosystem, known for its strong technical talent, fast-growing SaaS and deep-tech companies, and successful global market entry stories.
