The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) announces that a delegation of innovative Latvian woodworking and construction companies will participate in a trade mission to Bolzano, Italy, during the Klimahouse 2027 exhibition from January 27 to January 30, 2027.
Klimahouse is a leading trade fair in the Italian Alpine region focused on energy-efficient and sustainable construction solutions, showcasing modern timber construction methods, energy-saving materials, and renewable energy technologies. Italy represents a key market in European timber construction, particularly in prefabricated and modular housing, with Northern Italian regions such as Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, and Trentino-Alto Adige driving strong demand.
Latvia's woodworking and timber construction sector combines deeply rooted forestry traditions with advanced technology and sustainable practices. During the trade mission, Latvian companies will present their capabilities, meet with international partners, explore new collaboration opportunities, and participate in industry conference sessions. Visitors and potential partners will be able to connect with the Latvian delegation at the LIAA representative stand during the event.
The trade mission is organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) within the framework of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) Innovative Business Development Program, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Latvian state budget.
