The Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) invites to apply for participation in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Business Forum, 24-25 November 2021 in Riga, Hanzas apron!

This will be the fourth industry forum that has assembled an average of 250-300 industry professionals from more than 12 world countries each year.

The limitations of the Covid situation in the days of the Forum will be taken into account, and it will be possible to participate both on-site and remotely.

Within the framework of the Business Forum, a contact area between foreign purchasers and Latvian companies will take place.

Day 1, 24 November (Wednesday)

  • The opening of the Forum;
  • Presentation by an expert on the sector;
  • Developments in the mechanical engineering sector and an evaluation of the achievements of the last year of Latvia;
  • B2B meetings with foreign purchasers.
  • Panel discussions:
    • Insights on multi-sector business dealing with different crisis situations (including . “Covid”)
    • Innovation and new technologies;
    • Procurement and cooperation opportunities in Latvia;
    • Brief “pitch” presentations of individual achievements.

Day 2, November 25 (Thursday)

  • Attending the Tech Industry 2021 exhibition
  • B2B appointments continued
  • Company visits in Riga and near Riga

Working Language of the Forum – English/Latvian. Presentation and panelling discussions will provide synchronous translation to both languages.
