The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) is organising a trade mission to Japan, including participation in CPHI Japan 2026, taking place in Tokyo on 20–23 April 2026. The CPHI Japan exhibition itself will run from 21–23 April 2026.
CPHI Japan is one of the most important pharmaceutical industry events in Japan and the wider East Asia region. The organisers expect around 35,000 industry professionals from 70 countries, with strong attendance from Japan, China, India, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and others.
Latvian companies taking part will represent a broad range of pharmaceutical and related supply-chain segments, including:
- medicines and finished products
- active ingredients and other raw materials
- biopharma
- pharmaceutical manufacturing, including contract manufacturing
- laboratory devices and equipment
- packaging and transportation
- production machinery and industrial equipment
- services for the pharmaceutical industry, including IT solutions
