Latvian defence technology companies will take part in the international defence industry exhibition DALO Industry Days 2026, which will be held on 19–20 August 2026 in Herning, Denmark.
DALO Industry Days is the largest defence industry exhibition in the Nordic region and is organised by the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI/DALO). The event brings together more than 600 companies from over 30 countries and attracts more than 12,000 industry professionals each year, making it one of the most important platforms for cooperation and innovation in the regional defence sector.
The exhibition covers a broad spectrum of defence technologies, with particular focus on the following areas:
- air defence
- land and maritime systems
- cybersecurity
- space technologies
- C4ISR solutions
- electronic warfare
- artificial intelligence and autonomous systems
Participation in DALO Industry Days provides companies with an opportunity to connect with organisations within the Danish Ministry of Defence, companies from NATO member states, and other international defence industry stakeholders. The event also offers valuable insights into current defence technology trends, procurement priorities, and opportunities to establish new partnerships across the defence ecosystem.
Up to six Latvian companies are expected to participate in the mission.
The programme is expected to include participation in the exhibition, networking with defence industry companies and institutions, potential B2B meetings with international partners, and engagement with representatives of the Danish defence sector and global suppliers.
The trade mission is organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) within the framework of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME) Innovative Business Development Programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Latvian state budget.
